Majda Rijavec is professor emeritus at Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb.
Her areas of interest include educational psychology, positive psychology and psychology of gifted. She is the author of over 50 books and over 100 scientific papers.
She got state reward for popularization of psychology and two rewards for best psychological book of the year.
