Dr. Steve Rhine is a Professor of Education at Pacific University. He has been awarded approximately $4 million in grants focusing on mathematics education and uses of educational technology. He has presented at multiple conferences around the world and has published four books, including How Students Think When Doing Algebra and A Brilliant Teacher: Lessons Learned from One Family’s Journey Around the World. His current work focuses on the growing presence of digital curricula in elementary mathematics classrooms and in special education settings.
Assoc Pro. Hilda Freimuth
Dr. Hilda Freimuth is a tenured Associate Teaching Professor in the English Language Learning and Teaching Department at Thompson Rivers University (TRU). She holds an M.A. and M.Ed. in TESOL and a Ph.D. in Education. She has taught English in many parts of the world, with many years in the UAE. She has run three language learning centres – two in the UAE and one in Canada. She also managed a TEFL teacher training program in Vancouver for eight years. Hilda has published extensively in the past few years on research conducted in both the UAE and Canada.
Ass. Prof. Betzabet García-Mendoza
Betzabet García-Mendoza is an Associate Professor at the Information Technology Department at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico City. She received her MSc degree in Computer Science, Design, and Communication from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. She won the Best MSc Thesis Award for her work on interactive documentaries for the mazatec indigenous culture. Her research interests include information technologies for supporting education and indigenous cultures.
Dr. Nevset Gul Canakcioglu
Dr. Nevset Gul Canakcioglu obtained her BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in architecture, from Istanbul Technical University. Her research area focuses on environmental psychology, spatial perception, paediatric healthcare settings, learning environments and space syntax. She teaches architectural design, theory of architecture, research methods at Ozyegin University, Istanbul.
Dr. Carlos Jaimez-González
Carlos R. Jaimez-González is the Head of the Information Technology Department at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico City. He received his PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Essex, United Kingdom. His research interests include information technologies for supporting education and interoperability in distributed systems. He has a distinction as a national researcher from the Mexican Government.
Dr. Stellah Chewe Sabi
Dr Stella Chewe Sabi is a multidisciplinary researcher. She holds a PhD in food security, and a Master’s Degree in Policy and Development. She is currently a Postdoctoral fellow in the School of Social Sciences at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, in South Africa. She has an experience and interest in medical education, food security, public policy, development.

Amina Manal Zidi is currently a Ph.D. researcher at The University of The West of Scotland. Her field of interest is Applied Linguistics; she is interested in understanding students’ experiences after the completion of their intended degrees and how do they make sense of their home return experiences. Dr. Tsoghik Grigoryan works at Higher Colleges of Technology in The United Arab Emirates as a lecturer in General Studies department. She is also the coordinator of the Academic Success Center in the same institution. Dr. Grigoryan has PhD in TESOL, MA in TEFL and BA in English teaching Pedagogies and Linguistics. Dr. Grigoryan is an active researcher specialized in digital literacies and paperless education. She has published several research articles about digital education and authored two English-Armenian Dictionaries of Synonyms. Dr. Grigoryan has more than 20 years of teaching experience and is an advocate for active and life-long learning.
Prof. Mariko Okuzaki
Professor Mariko Okuzaki started her teaching at a Junior High School in 1985. Six years later, she was hired as an English lecturer in National Institute of Technology, Hakodate College. While working, Okuzaki earned a TESOL Master’s degree of SIT in 1996, where she has been a professor since 2004.

Dr. Nuria Lopez works as learning consultant at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. With a background in teaching in higher education, in her current position she supports the pedagogical development of teachers. She is particularly interested in increasing connections between learning sciences research and teaching practice. She holds a HEA Fellowship.
Prof. Dr. Pushp Lata
Prof. Dr. Pushp Lata, an academic at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani since 1994, has held various teaching and administrative positions. She has widely published in the fields of English Language Teaching, Computer Mediated Language Learning and Teaching, Syllabus Designing and Designing Teaching Materials for both Classroom and beyond Classroom teaching. Prof Lata has 16 books to her credit.

Dr. Jo-Ann Netto-Shek
Jo-Ann Netto-Shek is a teacher educator and works in the area of language learning and literacy education in school contexts. She is part of the English Language & Literature Academic Group at the National Institute of Education, Singapore and is the programme leader for the Diploma in Education programme and the English Language Curriculum Studies courses in the BA (Ed) (Primary) programme. Jo-Ann is the recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award in 2010 and the NIE Service award in 2013. Jo-Ann has also won the ASEAN Collaboration Grant from Cambodia TESOL and is also the recipient of a Fulbright Research Grant 2019.
Dr. Ali Chaari
Dr. Ali Chaari, P.h.D in Biochemistry and Biophysics. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Biochemistry in Weill Cornell medicine-Qatar. Dr. Chaari is experienced in biochemistry, molecular biology, and biophysics. He has co-authored several original research articles, written two books and has presented his work at several conferences. In addition, he is active as a research mentor to WCM-Q’s medical students. Dr. Chaari has two main research interest; the first one is educational research to improve biochemistry teaching for premedical students and the second one is the study of role of nutraceuticals and chaperone proteins on health promotion and diseases.

Dr. Osama Shaban is a professor of Accounting, having twenty six years of experience, he filled many administrative positions in the university (Head of Accounting Department, Head of Evening Studies), and also, he published a number of books and over than twenty eight research papers in reputable journals.

Dr. Lucia Miškulin Saletović, PhD, Assistant Professor, is employed at the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb. In addition to teaching, she is the coordinator of foreign language courses. Her areas of interest are foreign language for academic purposes, text linguistics, advertising and media language, and chrematonymy.

He graduated in Biological Sciences and is a postdoctoral researcher in ecosystem ecology. Currently is a professor at the School of Application and a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Education at the University of São Paulo, Brazil.
Dr. Chin-Ping Liou
Chin-Ping Liou is an associate professor in the Holistic Education Centre/ MA program in Brand and Fashion Management and a counselling psychologist in the students’ counselling centre at Fu Jen Catholic University, Taipei. She holds a PhD in counselling and psychotherapy from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. Her research interests include holistic healing, spirituality and culture, experiential learning, and emotions and international service-learning.

Dr. Hillel Wahrman is the Head of the Alternative Education Department at Oranim Academic College of Education, Israel. His research interests are the aims of education, civic education, and innovative teacher training. Dr. Khemanand Moheeput
Khemanand Moheeput has a PhD in Computational Physics and a Master in Education, and he is a lecturer in the Science Education department at the Mauritius Institute of Education. He works with educators from early childhood to secondary levels and is also involved in curriculum development across these levels. His research mainly focuses on Science/Physics, STEAM, and Computational Thinking.

Her fields of interest are English language teaching, ICT integration in teaching, soft skills, and English for Specific purposes.

Dr. Jacqui Lottin, (PhD) is Chair of Education Programs, Education Faculty, Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE. Her research interests include inclusive education, competency based learning and initial teacher development. Her current research topic is ‘Reduce Academic Fatigue and Enhance Retention for the Determined Ones (TDOs) in Online Learning’. Jacqui was awarded “Best PD Manager’ in 2016. She is co-Chair of UNESCO Taskforce for Teachers for Education 2030 – Special Needs Education Expert Section.

Dr. Bender’s research and teaching focuses on technology in design practice and education, with findings published in several design and education journals. In October 2018, “Doctorate” in “Sports Sciences”. 2010- 2020, researcher/lecturer at the “Sport Sciences Research Institute”. Currently working at the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences, Department of Biomedical and Humanities Sciences. Currently holds the post of Deputy Dean of this Faculty.

Dr. Keida Ushtelenca
Dr. Keida Ushtelenca was born in Tirana on May 17, 1985. She graduated in “Petro Nini Luarasi” High School and continued her studies in “Academy of Physical Education “Vojo Kushi” Tirana (today Sports University if Tirana). In 2013 she graduated the European Master in “IUSM” Italy (Rome) in collaboration with the University of Southern Denmark (Odense) and the University of Sport Austria (Vienna) for “Physical Activity and Health” being part of the Erasmus Program. In 2018 she graduated the program of the third cycle of studies, “Doctorate” in Sports Science. Dr. Keida Ushtelenca is a full time Lecturer at Department of Education and Health in the Faculty of Movement Sciences in the University of Sport Tirana, she is teaching the Module of “Adapted Physical Activity” and “Measurements/Tests in Sport” in the third year of Bachelor and Second year of Professional Master. Currently holding the position, Head of Department of Education and Health.
Mr. Denis Nuriu
Mr. Denis Nuriu was born in Tirana on July 13, 1979. 1998-2002 he studied at the Academy of Physical Education and Sports “Vojo Kushi”, (today Sports University of Tirana), graduated as a Teacher of Physical Education, specialty Combat Sports (wrestling). Mr. Denis Nuriu held the title “National Champion” in the sport of Greco-Roman wrestling for 8 years in a row with the teams of “Studenti SC” and “Dinamo SC”, joining the ranks of the National Team, where he has won many international matches. After completing his studies he has been the coach of Greco-Roman wrestling for several years with the teams of “Dinamo SC” and “Tirana SC” for youth teams, where as a coach he won many Champion titles. From 2018 onwards, Mr. Nuriu has developed his university activity as an academic staff with research direction at the Scientific Research Institute of Sports, at the University of Sports of Tirana in the Department of Physical Activity and Health. He is also engaged in the teaching process in the subjects: Testing in Physical Activity, Fitness and Recreation and Combat Sports.
