The Success Story of ICETL 2019
The 2019 edition of the International Conference on Research in Education, Teaching and Learning (ICETL) took place on the 19th-21st of April in Paris, France. We are delighted to report that, according to the feedback from the participants, it was a success – both in terms of its learning opportunities and networking value.
Dozens of countries were represented at this international event – South Africa, Cyprus, Israel, Hong Kong, Kuwait, China, India, United Arab Emirates, Armenia, Peru, Gambia, Uganda, and others. Such diverse atmosphere was one of the reasons the audience engaged in a series of insightful discussions with each other as well as the speakers. Coming from different backgrounds and approaching subjects from different angles allowed the attendees to exchange new perspectives on common challenges and brainstorm creative solutions.
The agenda featured presentations on such topics as digital-based learning, self-regulated learning, inclusive education management, evidence-based cognitivist instructional strategies, and numerous others. ICETL was the perfect opportunity to understand what the future of education looks like and, hopefully, made a difference in pushing the field further.
However, it is not only learning inspirations that the attendees took home with them. It was also the memories of exploring Paris as everyone was invited to join a free guided tour of the city. The city of light is a place like no other. Its architecture, history, and culture make an unforgettable impression.
ICETL will be returning in 2023. Have you grabbed your pass yet?
